I’m a writer and primary school teacher with a big interest in history and an enormous love for animals. I’ve loved reading and writing my whole life and especially enjoy writing picture books, junior fiction, and middle grade stories.
When I was a kid I had a beautiful, but very stubborn horse called Nimbus, who survived the Ash Wednesday bushfires in Macedon and lived to be thirty-eight.
One of the other great loves of my childhood was a miniature dachshund called Nicky. These days I’ve still got a dachshund in my life - a wonderful rescue dog called Artie - who’s half-daschund, half-jack russell and has filled my house with lots of chaos and joy.
